The door's to Bast's tower shuddered and buckled, as though being hit numerous times by something big. Eventually, they blew apart into splinters, sending anyone whow as near them flying backwards. Jaylen walked through the doors, and with no irony in his voice whatsoever, said
"Knock knock."

Artemis swifftly folowed in behind him like a shadow cast over the ground.
She stared at no one but only the back of Jaylen.
Her ankle bells jingled with every step she took.

Two guards tried to come at Jaylen with swords, but he raised both hsi hadns up, twisting them sharply. There were audible cracks as the guard's necks snapped, and they crumpled to the floor. Jaylen smiled evilly, turning to face Artemis.
"Welcome to our new home, my dear."

She stared sharply at the people in the room, staring at them like they were invisible.
"whatever" she meowed and turned her head to face him.
"it seems..."
she gave a sharp look
"quiet"

"Well, I could always make it louder."
Jaylen repleid smoothly, little trails of black magik moving around his body, some gently trailing around Artemis.
"Or you and I could liven things up and get the place to ourselves."

The anceint people of egypt stared back at them, without moving.
A tall woman that had dark black fur and green eyes stood from a throne.
"Artemis?" she called to her, she walked gracefull down her steps to Artemis.
"Don't come any closer!" Artemis growled harshly forming her hands around air and making a swift energy bolt in her hands.

Jaylen growled, turning also, his hands glowing with purple energy as he stepped beisde Artemis, the shining ring clearly visible on his hand. He held both hands up in a defensive position, in case the newcomer decided to attack.

"Artemis, you look diffrent..." the woman asked wearirly. Her hand quivered.
"I don't NEED SYMPATHY FROM YOU BAST!"
Artemis yelled at Bast
Bast looked at her more with wearingly.

"Yes, she does look quite different, doesn't she Bast? I've always said she looked oh so much prettier when she was evil..."
Jaylen replied, looking over to Artemis and smiling fondly. His evil girl that was always going to be his.

"Jaylen," Bast whispered
"sad to see that one of my daughters has fallen for a man like you!"
Artemis ran in front of the goddess and shoved her to the ground.
"stay out of this..." she growled wickedly.

"Really, dear Bast? I think Artemis rather enjoys being with me."
Jaylen countered, slowly walking forward, his hands stopping their glow, so it looked like he was defenceless. He got over to Artemis, slipping his hand into hers, still glaring defiantly up at Bast.

Artemis purred somely and swished her tail lunging at her mother. Grabbing her by the throat.
"Its 'bout time you learn to respect your royalty!" she hissed with an evil grin and flung Bast across the room.
The others rushed in to grab Artemis but she swung at them and they went crashing across the room.

Jaylen let out an evil laugh, slowly stepping forward, whenever his foot lifted off the ground, black flames shooting up around his footprint. He slowly made his way to Bast, slowly circling around her.
"Oh, dear dear Bast... You should be happy! Your daughter has a ring on her finger! be proud one of your daughters, loves and gets to be with one like me! She could ahve been stuck with some good noble!"

"good boy I disagree!" Bast cried tears streaming her face.
Artemis jingled across the room and lifted her hand as if she were holding an invisible ball.
Bast choked and gagged and lifted high into the air as though an invisible spirit was choking her to death.
Artemis flung her across the room
"YOU NEVER RESPECTED ME!"
Artemis growled and threw her again.
"you always let Tera, Emily, and Skylah boss me around! you NEVER loved ME!"
tears were streaming down her face.

"Yes, dear Artemis. Let all of your anger out on the one who doesn't care about you..."
Jaylen replied, going up behind Artemis and gently putting his arms around her waist successfully blocking two would-be distracting attacks from others in the room. Even to Bast, it was obvious that Jaylen cared about Artemis.
